Ron Strathdee judged November’s Open competition and as always he gave thoughtful comments with snippets of advice and humour.
It is good to see an increased number of entries in both the print and digital section this season, and subjects ranged from flowers, insects and still life to local scenes, sport and the International Space Station.
The scores were as follows:
Print section:
1st: ‘Hideing’ by Peter Skears – 20 points
2nd: ‘Meadow Flowers’ by Gwen Tuck – 20 points
3rd: ‘Flower Burst’ by Sue Clegg – 19 points

Digital section:
1st: ‘Wait For Me!’ by Peter Skears – 20 points
2nd: ‘Busy Bee’ by Andrea Thrussell – 19 points
=3rd: ‘Autumn Window Display’ by Jason Quayle – 19 points
=3rd ‘It’s A Goal’ by Brian Goldie – 19 points

Well done to everyone and especially Peter for winning both sections.
The club night on 17th November will feature presentations by Jim and Peter on motorsport, astrophotography, wildlife and the Falkland Islands. The following Sunday (21st) is the deadline for entries to the “Juxtaposition” competition.
