Our second competition of 2022 was on the topic of “Water” and attracted a wide range of ideas and interpretations of the theme.

The judge was Mike Wade who is a photographer and Entertainments Editor of Isle of Man Newspapers. He has judged for us before and, as usual, he was an entertaining visitor who interacted with the members and made suggestions about the entries.
The results were as follows:
Print section:
1st: ‘Up the Waterfall We Go’ by Sue Clegg – 19 points (above)
2nd: ‘Droplets’ by Seamus Whelan – 18 points
3rd: ‘Impractical Car Wash’ by Jim Gibson – 17 points

Digital section:
1st: ‘On Castletown Beach’ by Barry Hennedy – 18 points (above)
2nd: ‘Sunrise over the Pool’ by Simon Jennings – 18 points
