This season’s inter-club digital battle was hosted by the IOMPS at Douglas Golf Club and judged by Andrew Barton.
We finished as runners-up in this annual showcase of images by members of the three local clubs (the IOM Photographic Society, the Western PS and the Southern PS), and the points totals were as follows:
IOMPS: 525
SPS: 510
WPS: 509
Six images were awarded the maximum 20 points and the judge’s overall favourite was “Coumeenole Beach” by Jeremy Broome-Smith of the IOMPS.
Congratulations to Georgina, whose “Heron” earned 20 points, Steve with four 19s, James with two 19s, and Seamus and Jason with one apiece.
Our thanks to the IOMPS for hosting this year. It will be our turn next season and we look forward to welcoming members of the other clubs to Colby.
