The Tigers of Ranthambore

An image from Sue Blythe’s presentation

Sue Blythe’s “Tigers of Ranthambore” presentation was well attended on Wednesday.

As well as imagery of tigers in the Ranthambore National Park, the people of India and also The Taj Mahal, Sue’s talk on the tigers was informative and the images stunning.

We are grateful to Sue for giving up an evening at her own society, and pleased that she enjoyed her latest visit to see us. We hope to welcome her back to Colby again in future, and for anyone who missed out, one of Sue’s tiger images is at the top of the page.

A quick reminder to members about Sunday’s deadline for the next Open competition; please have your entries in by 6pm. Chris Blyth will assess the entries and present the results on Wednesday 4th November.

Before then, on Wednesday 28th October SPS members are invited to the IOM Photographic Society’s “Annual Competition” at the St John Ambulance HQ in Douglas. It starts at 7.30pm and admission is just £2.
