Our programme runs from September to May and we meet on alternate Wednesday evenings, with outings and activities during the summer.
A casual evening starts with the Mike Goldie Trophy, an informal competition open to all paid-up members. The theme set by last year’s winner, Seamus Whelan, is “Windows and/or Doors“. Bring up to three entries on a memory stick.
Then an opportunity to get your cameras out, take photos, chat to other photographers and hopefully try something new! Further details closer to the date.

It is the Western Photographic Society’s turn to host the annual digital ‘battle’ between the island’s three photographic societies. Each club enters 30 of its members’ best images (maximum five by any one member) to be assesed by a neutral judge.
