Our programme runs from September to May and we meet on alternate Wednesday evenings, with outings and activities during the summer.
Welcome and introduction to the season, including a look at what members did during the summer break and a chance to inspect prints from the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union.
Members are invited to share their ideas for the new season, and to bring 10-15 images for “What I Did This Summer”. Bring all images on a memory stick.
New and prospective members will be very welcome – just turn up at 7.45pm.
A casual evening starts with the Mike Goldie Trophy, an informal competition open to all paid-up members. The theme set by last year’s winner, Seamus Whelan, is “Windows and/or Doors“. Bring up to three entries on a memory stick.
Then an opportunity to get your cameras out, take photos, chat to other photographers and hopefully try something new! Further details closer to the date.
As requested by members, an opportunity to ask for feedback and advice about your images from fellow members, and to hear about competition winning images from the photographers.
