Introduction to the new season including the Mike Goldie Trophy, which is an informal competition for paid-up members. The theme is ‘’Manx Glens” and last year’s winner Jason Quayle will select the winning image.
Bring up to 3 entries on a memory stick.
Members are also invited to share 10-15 images showing “What I Did This Summer”. Images on a memory stick.
New and prospective members are very welcome – just turn up.

‘Digital Art‘ is a chance to showcase your ‘arty’/quirky ideas with processing and effects. Enter up to five images by Monday 26th February (6pm). Members will pick their favourite on the night and there is a trophy!
This will be followed by a presentation by club president Brian Goldie about AI imagery with discussion and questions.
Follow-up demonstration and practical evening with portrait photographer Jason Kinrade.
The annual friendly ‘battle’ between the Southern and Western Photographic Societies. Each club enters 30 digital images, with no more than five by any individual, and goes head-to-head for bragging rights and the unique trophy.
The Western PS hosts this year’s ‘battle’.
