Putting you in the picture about the Southern Photographic Society, Isle of Man
An informal extra meeting for members to bring their camera gear and ask questions and swap advice about equipment, settings, software and entering competitions. Perhaps you have an image you would like to share with fellow members for some feedback?
This is a trial addition to our normal schedule to offer an extended opportunity for questions and answers/advice. If successful, we will arrange more.
Annual digital ‘battle’ between the island’s three photographic societies. This year the Western Photographic Society hosts the Isle of Man Photographic Society and Southern Photographic Society.

Tickets available: £10 with hot pot supper and refreshments or £3 for admission including refreshments.

The ‘Digital Art‘ competition is a chance to showcase your ‘arty’/quirky ideas and your creativity with processing and effects. You may enter up to five images.
This will be followed by explanations and demonstrations of how some of the images were created (this is entirely voluntary but always appreciated).
Images should be emailed to the usual address by 6pm on Saturday 13th March. Voting and results will take place online due to March lockdown.

A presentation by Patricia Tutt of the Western Photographic Society on the process of judging photographic competitions, followed by a selection of her own images on various topics.
