This club night will include a presentation about sports and action photography of different types and practical tips for capturing motion. Experienced club members Brian, Dave, Jim and John will share images and advice about techniques and equipment and will answer questions.

Christmas Party
Our annual Christmas party is an informal, social occasion with buffet food, a raffle, some brain teasers and a fun print competition. This year’s theme is “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and you should bring just one print, maximum size 7×5 inches.
Cost £3 for paid-up members and £5 for casual members and guests.

‘Three-Way Battle’ – Inter-Club Digital Competition
The annual digital ‘battle’ between the island’s three photographic societies. This year the Southern Photographic Society hosts the Isle of Man Photographic Society and the Western Photographic Society.
Admission by ticket, available in advance from each club:
£10 for admission including hot meal before the competition and refreshments at the break.
£3 for admission only, including refreshments at the break.

Explanations and demonstrations in the use of flash by commercial, portrait and wedding photographer Andrew Barton.
Club Night
