Photographer of the Year 2026, Andrea Thrussell with Barry Hennedy

Congratulations to all, not just the trophy winners, but those members who worked to improve their craft and increased their scores.  There were some stunning images throughout the season, and more than one judge commented on the high standards.

Special mentions to new members Paul Saunders and Annie Brain, who quickly settled in and shared some great images, resulting in some excellent scores for Annie and two trophies for Paul.  Also to Angela for her first wins and trophy after some excellent work.

Paul and Simon (winner of Division 2) were unable to attend, but we will present their trophies as soon as possible.

Only six points separated the top four in the digital division and just one point in the Photographer of the Year competition, and if everyone manages to enter all of the cumulative competitions next season, it could be even closer!

Presentation photos (courtesy of Jim Gibson) can be seen here, and the competitions page is updated with the final totals and positions.

The new season begins on Wednesday 9th September and competitions are just a part of what we do. Come along and find out more!
