Members of the Southern Photographic Society are deeply saddened by the news that Andy Kennaugh passed away last week.
Andy joined the SPS over 30 years ago and was our longest-serving member. He was a committee member for almost as long and became treasurer in the mid-1990s, a position he held ever since.
A quiet and unassuming man, Andy gladly offered advice and humour to his fellow members and experience and perspective at committee meetings. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the SPS and its activities, and he will be greatly missed.
Andy was also a well-known figure in local farming circles, taking great pleasure in documenting agricultural shows, and his other great interest was cultivating and exhibiting Chrysanthemum flowers.
Our sincere condolences to the Kennaugh family.
