David Silvester LRPS was our guest on Wednesday to lead an evening about image processing.
The evening had to be postponed in October but the long wait for the rescheduled date was worth it for two hours of advice, tips and questions and answers from an experienced photography trainer.
Members were invited to submit unedited files for advice on processing, and David imported them into Photoshop one by one and offered tips on composition and editing while interacting with the author. Some files needed little work while some RAWs took more editing and the difference between those and David’s final version was noteworthy.
It was an enjoyable and educational evening laced with advice, questions and answers with a sprinkling of humour, and David received a warm vote of thanks.
Deadline:
The deadline for the season’s final open competition is this Sunday, 3rd April, and the entries will be assessed by judge Eddie Fryer on Wednesday 13th April.
