Our first summer outing was a trip along the southern coastline and around the Calf of Man.
On Sunday 8th May, a group of members enjoyed a beautiful afternoon aboard Gemini, sailing from Port St Mary to enjoy the views from sea level and spotting birdlife, seals and daredevil clifftop sheep.
It was also a great opportunity to practice panning and high-speed photography as the gulls swooped within feet of us! Many thanks to Bob, Alan and Louisa for their expertise, commentary and excellent cuppa and biccies.
Photo by Peter Skears, who got off first to take the group photo rather than be in it!
