The opening of the 50th Anniversary Exhibition on Monday, 2nd August, was a great success at the Erin Arts Centre, Port Erin.
Members (past and present) were joined by guests, one of the founder members and representatives of local associations and the other photographic societies.

There was almost a full turnout of members for the 50th Anniversary dinner and presentations on Friday 18th June.
The Colby Glen Hotel was an excellent venue for the two-course meal organised by Sue Clegg, and Sue surprised everyone by baking a cake shaped like a Canon EOS camera and embellished with a gold 50. It tasted as good as it looked!

Members enjoyed a guided tour of Tynwald Chambers on Sunday 13th June.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister (above right) was our guide for the ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the Tynwald Chambers, including the House of Keys, the Legislative Chamber, the Tynwald Chamber and some of the more modern areas.

The 2021 Annual General Meeting took place on 9th June, and was followed by the results of the Lockdown Challenge.
President Brian Goldie welcomed everyone, thanked the committee, and encouraged all members to keep supporting the club and making suggestions to keep it moving forward.

The competition season ended on a high note on Wednesday with the Image of the Year. All entries have been seen previously in competitions, and it was wonderful to see them all again in the same event.
