Many congratulations to Steve – he has had a great first season with the Southern Photographic Society!

Judge David Killip gave descriptive and positive comments throughout, noting that when he judged this same competition four years ago the standard of images was very high, but this year’s was even higher and there were several “outstanding” images.

He also commented that all technical aspects were good – as he would expect from an end-of-season final – so his marks and placings reflected his preference and another judge may select completely different images for the top places.
