The island’s three photographic societies met in Douglas last week for the annual “3-Way Battle”.
This year, it was the turn of the IOM Photographic Society to host the Western and Southern Photographic Societies for this digital competition, in which each club enters 30 images with no more than five by any one member.

The opening of the 50th Anniversary Exhibition on Monday, 2nd August, was a great success at the Erin Arts Centre, Port Erin.

There was almost a full turnout of members for the 50th Anniversary dinner and presentations on Friday 18th June.
The Colby Glen Hotel was an excellent venue for the two-course meal organised by Sue Clegg, and Sue surprised everyone by baking a cake shaped like a Canon EOS camera and embellished with a gold 50. It tasted as good as it looked!
