Digital Art and Ai

Digital creations were to the fore on 28th February when the Digital Art competition was coupled with Brian Goldie’s presentation on Ai imagery.

The Western Photographic Society welcomed us to their new venue in Peel last week for the annual “Battle”.

It was a night for nature on 13th February when Dave Salter judged the Southern Photographic Society’s latest Open competition.

The theme for January’s competition was “Abandoned” and it attracted a variety of subjects in states of ruin and disrepair.

Last Wednesday, Sue Blythe presented the results of the first open competition of the season.

We relinquished the Inter-Club Trophy at the “3-Way Battle” last week.

The competition season got underway on Wednesday with the results of the Nature’s Patterns competition.

Congratulations to Jason Quayle who won this season’s first competition, the Mike Goldie Trophy, at the opening evening on 6th September.

Steve Johnstone’s “Stag in Pursuit of the Hind” was named Print of the Year and Overall Image of the Year at our season finale competition.

The final open competition of this season was judged on Wednesday, with the usual wide range of subjects and styles on show.
