Timely Trophy Winner

Congratulations to Jason Quayle who won this season’s first competition, the Mike Goldie Trophy, at the opening evening on 6th September.

Our new season begins on Wednesday 6th September.

If you are interested in photography and looking for ideas and inspiration, the Southern Photographic Society may be the place for you.

Members and guests attended the Southern Photographic Society annual presentation evening and dinner on Friday 19th May.

Steve Johnstone’s “Stag in Pursuit of the Hind” was named Print of the Year and Overall Image of the Year at our season finale competition.

The final open competition of this season was judged on Wednesday, with the usual wide range of subjects and styles on show.

“Circles” was the subject of our final themed competition of the season, and Mike Radcliffe was our judge.

Port Erin is in the spotlight in a new exhibition by our members!

Barry Murphy returned to judge our third open competition of the season, which featured action, landscape, nature and people photography.

Members showed their arty and creative ideas in the ‘Digital’ Art evening.

We were unable to repeat our 3-Way Battle win in last week’s 2-Way Battle with the Western Photographic Society.
