Eight members shared a selection of their photographs on the first club night of 2023.
The second half of the season got underway with a selection of images and background information shared by members, each having a ten-minute slot to show eight images.
On this first evening of its type, Andrea, Georgina and Steve gave a roughly chronological journey through their imagery, while Barry and Jim explained the process of creating some of their notable competition entries.
Seamus’ eight images each had a story attached, including one that has been printed and stolen three times from different premises!
Peter couldn’t decide on just eight so asked wife Jan to make the final selection from his nature images, and Jason shared photos of creations from his main hobby, which is building model boats. He has promised to bring one to our next meeting.
It was a very interesting and enjoyable evening and the opinion at the end was that we should definitely arrange another. A big THANK YOU to everyone for taking part, whether showing images or asking questions and showing appreciation to each member.
